USHA PLAZADr. Soumya Roy is an experienced Pediatrician with over 10 years of clinical experience in child health and newborn care. He completed his MBBS from Medical College, Kolkata in 2012, followed by DCH from the Institute of Child Health, Kolkata in 2017.
Dr. Roy previously served as Junior Resident in Pediatrics at Barasat Medical College (2018–2020) and as Registrar in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at ILS Hospitals, Salt Lake (2018–2019), where he gained extensive experience in managing sick newborns and pediatric emergencies.
Dr. Soumya Roy provides comprehensive care for a wide range of pediatric conditions, including infectious diseases, nutritional disorders, and neonatal problems, along with all routine and recommended childhood vaccinations. His special areas of interest include growth and developmental concerns, behavioral problems, and parental counseling for optimal child health and development.
