Upper GI Endoscopy is a non-surgical diagnostic procedure that uses a long, flexible tube with a camera (endoscope) to examine the inner lining of the oesophagus, stomach, and duodenum. It helps detect causes of symptoms such as persistent heartburn, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or difficulty swallowing. In some cases, the endoscope can also be used to take tissue samples (biopsy) or perform minor therapeutic procedures, making it useful for both diagnosis and treatment planning. Booking is mandatory.
