Dr. Prathama Chaudhuri is a distinguished Psychiatrist and Professor of Psychiatry in Kolkata, practicing since 1997. She completed her MBBS with Honours from Calcutta Medical College in 1992, followed by post-graduation from the Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP) in Ranchi, earning the MD (Psychiatry) degree in 1997. Dr. Chaudhuri furthered her qualifications by acquiring the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) title in Psychiatry from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, in 1998. She also completed a WHO Fellowship in Sydney, Australia, and received brief training from the UK College of Hypnotherapy, London. Dr. Chaudhuri's expertise extends to various specialized courses including Psychological First Aid, Educational Counselling of Children & Adolescents, and Workplace Stress Management, acquired from prestigious institutions like Johns Hopkins University, Griffith University (Queensland, Australia), and Coventry University (UK) respectively. Dr. Prathama Chaudhuri is attached to Suraksha Polyclinic (Phoolbagan) & (Ballygange), and serves as Professor of Psychiatry at Calcutta Medical College. Additionally, she is a Visiting Faculty at Calcutta University and Jadavpur University, and a regular speaker at national and international psychiatry conferences.
