Dr. Piyali Biswas comes with 12 years of experience as Consultant Histopathologist. She is an expert in Histopathology, Cytopathology, Hematopathology and highly skilled in reporting Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Liquid Based Cytology (LBC) and experienced in reporting CISH and FISH.
Dr. Biswas completed her MBBS from R.G Kar Medical College, Kolkata and MD Pathology from prestigious Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital Mumbai.
She has obtained Fellowship in Histopathology from Royal College of Pathologists ,London, UK.
Post MD, she started her career as Senior Registrar in Oncopathology department of renowned Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai in 2010.
In 2012, Dr. Biswas joined as full time Histopathologist in Metropolis Healthcare Ltd. Mumbai and later moved to Kolkata to head their Kolkata branch. Subsequently, she has worked in SRL diagnostic and Dr.Lal Path Labs, Kolkata as Consultant Histopathologist. Before joining Suraksha Diagnostics, she was attached with Oncquest Laboratory, Kolkata as Laboratory Head and Senior Consultant Pathologist. Dr. Biswas believes in teamwork and works in close liaison with Clinicians and Surgeons for delivering best services to the patients and society.
