New Centre Launch at Tamluk :
Eastern India’s largest Superspeciality diagnostic chain now extends to Medinipur with the opening of its pathological lab in Tamluk on 17th August, 2018. On this occasion, Chairman of Tamluk Municipality, Mr. Rabindranath Sen, and Vice Chairman of Tamluk Municipality, Mr. Dipendra Narayan Roy, were present for ribbon cutting ceremony. Suraksha organized a free health check-up camp in its new center on its opening day.
CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME) ORGANISED BY SURAKSHA AT BARASAT :
On 17th March, 2018, Suraksha held a CME program in Imperial Banquet, Barasat. Suraksha being at the forefront of diagnostics in Eastern India, has the proud privilege of presenting three revolutionary technologies for the First time in Eastern India: NEXT GENERATION SEQUENCING, TANDEM MASS SPECTROSCOPY, CYTOGENETICS LAB WITH FISH. The three scientists working on these technologies, Dr. Tridip Chatterjee, Dr. Abhik Banerjee and Dr. Debarshi Sanyal, spoke on this occasion.
SURAKSHA PARTICIPATED IN NATIONAL MIDTERM CONFERENCE OF GERIATRIC SOCIETY OF INDIA :
On 18th March, 2018, Suraksha participated in National Midterm Conference of Geriatric Society of India organized by Geriatric Society of India at Hotel Hyatt Regency. Dr. Abhik Banerjee, Chief Consultant-Pathology of Suraksha, gave a presentation on this occasion.
Annual Conference organized by The Bengal Obstetric & Gynaecological Society :
On 6th and 7th January 2018, Suraksha participated in the Annual Conference organized by The Bengal Obstetric & Gynaecological Society at ITC Sonar. We launched our new venture "Fetal Medicine Clinic" — A complete solution provider for expectant mothers and their fetus, starting from 4D USG Anomaly Scan, NT scan, Double, Triple, Quadruple marker testing, Non-invasive Prenatal Screening (NIPS), Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGS), Conventional and Molecular Cytogenetics (FISH), New born Screening (NBS) on LCMS-MS platform.

PGS helps to screen and select healthiest embryos for implantation, which increases dramatically the success rate of IVF reducing financial and psychological burden of the couples. NIPS is a test which can be done simply from mother’s peripheral blood to detect abnormalities in developing fetus with 99.9 % sensitivity and specificity as early as 10th week of pregnancy without causing any harm to the fetus. Both the tests are done on the most advanced Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Platform.

Our Consultant Molecular Biologist Dr. Tridip Chatterjee presented a lecture on "Prenatal Molecular Diagnostics" at the conference, which was appreciated by all present members.

We are the first Diagnostic lab in Eastern India to come up with NGS, FISH & LCMS-MS technologies.
Suraksha has achieved Award for the Best Quality in Service Delivery :
Suraksha has achieved the Award for the Best Quality in Service Delivery, organized by ABP News in Mumbai. Dr. Somnath Chatterjee, Director of Suraksha Diagnostic, was present to receive this award.
Diabetes Awareness Camp :
Suraksha, the leading Diagnostic Center of Eastern India, in an effort to promote healthy lifestyle, organized a Diabetes Awareness Camp . The programme was conducted to mark World Diabetes Day which is celebrated on 14th November every year. The camp was inaugurated by Ms. Tulsi Sinha Roy, Councilor Bidhan Nagar Municipality,along with Mr. Debasish Basu, Newsreader & Anchor .Mr.RahulChakraborty,(Actor)Mr.RaJib Bose,( Actor) Ms. Sanjukta Roy Choudhury ( Actress) and Dr. Somnath Chatterjee, Director Suraksha Diagnostic.This was followed by Yoga Session and Diabetic Health Camp.
Press Conference at The Oberoi Grand :
Suraksha Diagnostic Centre, the largest diagnostic chain in Eastern India announced its expansion plans for 2017- 18 at a Press Conference held at The Oberoi Grand on 18th April 2017. The conference was opened by Dr. Somnath Chatterjee, Director, Suraksha Diagnostics. Mrs. Ritu Mittal, CEO of Suraksha Diagnostics, also was present to address the media.
Barasat Continual Medical Education Program :
Conducted by Suraksha at Jewels of India building in Barasat on 29th January 2017, the two main themes of the CME were:

“IBS IN 2017 – WHAT’S NEW” : Dr. Asif Ali Ahmad - DM (Gastroenterology)
“COAGULATION DISORDERS – A NEW PERSPECTIVE”: Dr. Arnab Chattopadhyay - DM (Hematology)

Dunlop Continual Medical Education Program :
Suraksha held a CME in Dunlop at Longia Towers, on 5th February, 2017 on the following main themes:

"RECTAL BLEEDING" : Dr. Gautam Bhowmick - MS, FRCS
"DIABETES - DRUGS CVOTS- WHICH DRUG TO PRESCRIBE" : Dr. Soumyabrata Roy - MRCP
The total number of attendees at the event was 45.

Continual Medical Education program conducted by Suraksha at Diamond Harbour center on 18th February, 2017 was centered on

"PREVENTION OF HEART DISEASE"
The total number of attendees at the event was 75.
Khardah Continual Medical Education Program:
Suraksha Diagnostics conducted CME at Khardah on 19th February, 2017 on the following theme:

"Management of GERD & Saline Infusion Sono-Hystero-Salpingography (SIS) for Evaluation of Endometrial and Tubal Pathology"
The total number of attendees at the event was 117.
Salt Lake Continual Medical Education Program :
The Continual medical education program conducted at CII- Suresh Neotia Center of Excellence, Salt Lake on 11th February, 2017 was centered round the following themes:

The total number of attendees at the event was 170.
Chinar Park Continual Medical Education Program :
Suraksha conducted another CME at Mehandi Banquet, 1st Floor Haldiram Complex, Rajarhat Service Road, Kolkata on 29th January, 2017. This CME was conducted around the following main themes:

Kasba and Garia Continual Medical Education Program :

Dr. Sanjay Kumar Biswas- Revolutions in Endoscopy in Gynecology

World Diabetes Day - Suraksha Walkathon 2016 :
Four Day Training Program – IA and QMS :

Pre Puja Health camp at Narendrapur Big Bazar by Suraksha Garia centre :
On 14th of September Suraksha Garia center had organized a Pre Puja Free health check up camp for Narendrapur Big Bazar employees. Almost 75 employees participated in the camp, where ECG, BP testing, Sugar (Random) testing, along with Doctor’s consultation were conducted. Garia Suraksha wishes to conduct Sunday clinic every week at their center … an initiative by Suraksha diagnostic pvt. Ltd issued in public health.
Independence Day Campaign :
Let’s celebrate Freedom by promoting Respect, Equality and Dignity. This Independence day, lets pay our tribute to the Senior citizens who might have evidenced the dawn of 15th August 1947.
Suraksha introduces special 10 percent discount scheme for senior citizens from 15th – 30th August.



As it says “change is necessity of life” it is not a form but it gets carried away from generations to generation. It is evident from the history of our Freedom fighters that both youth and senior citizens had fought together to bring the dawn of 15th August 1947.
The Yellow Alert Campaign :
Suraksha has launched “yellow alert campaign” to recognize World Hepatitis day on 28th July 2014 through a series of internal and external branding / awareness programs from 22nd July on wards. In these 7 days, free Bilirubin test was done and a 50 percent discount was also given on other Hepatitis panel check up. All centers distributed Hepatitis alert leaflet to the walk - in patients from 22nd – 28th July. News paper insertion of leaflets was done and all the front office wall of the Suraksha centers had Yellow Alert posters.

Suraksha wishes to have more such awareness campaigns in future to serve people with the correct diagnosis for better living.
