What are the tests done at Suraksha Diagnostics, other than Pathology Tests?
We do all Imaging Tests including Digital X-Ray, 4D/5D USG, 1.5T MRI, CTScan, Mammography, DEXA, OPG; Cardiology Tests including ECG, Echo, TMT and more; Gastroenterology Tests including Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy and more; Neurology Tests including EEG, EMG, NCV and more.
What are the working hours of Suraksha Diagnostics?
Most of our Suraksha Diagnostic Centers have a Polyclinic facility associated with it. You can get tested or consult a doctor within the same premises. Timings for each facility is as follows:
  1. Diagnostic Center: Monday to Saturday: 06:30 AM – 08:00 PM & Sunday: 06:30 AM – 02:30 PM
  2. Diagnostic Center and Polyclinic: 6:30 AM to 9 PM
Do I need to make an appointment in order to get a test done at Suraksha Diagnostics?
Yes, it is advised to book an appointment beforehand over helpline to avoid over the counter booking rush. However, you can walk in straight into any of our centers to get a test conducted without prior booking as well. Whether the test is conducted on same day or not would depend on conditions of patient before test and availability of the test at that center. Suraksha takes pride in making patient experience hassle-free and our friendly front office stuff always tries to ensure that your test is done at the earliest available slot.
Do I need to fast before the tests are done?
Fasting depends upon which tests have been prescribed to you. It is advisable to talk to our experts over helpline for details regarding conditions before getting tested for every clinical procedure prescribed to you. Suraksha is just a call away!
Can I drink water before a Fasting Blood Sugar Test?
Yes, you can drink only water before a fasting blood sugar test. No other solid or fluid intake is allowed from 8-10 hours before a fasting blood sugar test.
Is X-ray radiation harmful for our health?
Too much exposure to X-Rays can cause genetic mutations. Therefore, doctors advise sparing use of X-Ray examinations today. Go for X-Rays as less frequently as you can.
Is X-ray imaging safe during pregnancy?
It depends on the part of the body undergoing X-ray test. Usually X-ray of arms, legs, head, teeth, or chest are safe as your unborn baby or reproductive organs are not directly exposed to X-ray beams. However, X-ray of abdomen, stomach, pelvis, lower back, or kidneys should be avoided. It is advised that the patient should let the doctor know that she is pregnant during an X-Ray examination.
Is USG harmful? Does it have any limitations?
No, USG is not harmful but too frequent USG sessions are not good for health. Therefore try to space out time between two USG sessions by a period ranging between a couple of months to years.
How do you collect a urine sample?
Urine samples are collected in sterilized and pre-barcoded containers either from your home or at the diagnostic centre. The patient is asked to fill the container themselves by visiting the nearest centre or at home.
Is MRI test safe and comfortable?
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a safe and trusted procedure. Too many frequent MRIs are not advised within a short duration of time.
How long does it take to receive test results?
It depends on the test ordered. Most of pathology test reports are available on the same day or by next day. But few may require more days. Other test reports can be also available within one day. Soft copy of the report can be downloaded from our website.
How will I receive my reports?
Technically, hard copies of reports are available in the front office of the center on the date and time when Suraksha believes in giving ease-of-access to its patients. Test reports are made available for view on smartphones through SMS links or for download from online portals. SMS alerts are sent to the patient’s registered phone number of the same. In addition, reports are sent via emails when the patient is unreachable over phone.
What are the payment options available?
You can make your payment by cash or credit/debit card over the front office counter or to the collection expert who visits your home. You also can avail the facility of online payments via Gpay and PhonePe.
How can I get an appointment with my preferred Physician at Suraksha Diagnostics?
You can easily book an appointment by calling up our helpline number and mentioning the name of your preferred Physician. Our customer relationship managers will help you schedule an appointment with the Physician. You also can book your appointment on our website.

How long do I have to wait once I am at the Diagnostic Center?
A maximum waiting time of twenty minutes, if not sooner, is expected once you are at the diagnostic center. The token number provided to you by the front office desk indicates your position in the line-up to your prescribed test.
How long does a Doctor Consultation last?
Each and every doctor consultation lasts around twenty minutes. Our doctors take extra care to provide one-on-one attention to the patient that matches up to the superior healthcare guarantee that Suraksha promises.
