Dr. Abhirup Sarkar completed his MD in Laboratory Medicine along with one year of senior residency from AIIMS, New Delhi. He is trained in Exome Sequence Analysis and Interpretation, Quality Management Systems and Internal Audit in Medical Laboratories as per ISO 15189:2012.
Apart from this, he has a keen interest in research. He has also worked in projects like cytokine profiling and immunophenotyping of T cells in latent and active tuberculosis, machine learning in diagnosis of infectious diseases from hematological parameters and cell population data, to name a few.
He has conducted multiple presentations in national and international conferences and has published more than 20 research articles in national and international journals, along with his contribution as an author to Lippincott’s Illustrated Reviews: Cell & Molecular Biology.
